Head of Business Performance & Analytics
Yvonne is a member of the Retail and Commercial Banking Senior Leadership team in AIB and her current role is Head of Business Performance & Analytics leading a team of over 80 Data Scientists and Information Analysts. Yvonne was a very influential leader in leading a number of key programmes across AIB Group, including Retail Transformation, Core Systems Replacement, Digital Customer Experience and Enhanced Analytics. Yvonne also held the position of Head of Direct Service. Yvonne is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion board in AIB and has a Masters in IT.
Chief Operating Officer
Fiona is Chief Operating Officer of Orreco Ltd., using data and science to revolutionise the way athletes manage their training and nutrition. Prior to Orreco, Fiona was founder and CEO of Haptica Ltd., a global simulation technology business, which she took from market creation to exit. She has also held a range of international, executive positions at Goldman Sachs and Diageo plc. Fiona also worked for over a decade in change management consulting, leading projects in the public sector and in organisations across energy, banking and professional services. Fiona is a Chartered Director and serves on a number of commercial and not-for-profit Boards.
Chief Executive Officer
Willie Ruane was born in Mayo and played professional rugby for Connacht in the late 1990s. He represented Ireland at Colleges and U-21 level and also lined out for the Barbarians. Willie worked in the banking sector for 15 years before he took up the role as Connacht CEO in 2014. There have been many highlights since Willie took up the position of Connacht Rugby CEO. On the field, Connacht won the PRO12 Championship in the 2015/16 season. While off the field, a new vision has been launched for Connacht Rugby entitled 'Grassroots to Green Shirts' - a vision which aims to inspire the people of Connacht through rugby success.
Dr. Mark White
Manager, Marine Development Team
Mark is the Manager of the Marine Development Team, an initiative of the Irish Government aimed at accelerating the development of Marine related business in Ireland across all marine sectors. Prior to that Mark was Director of the Marine Business Unit of Meteogroup, Europe’s largest private weather company with operations in 18 countries around the globe. Mark received a Ph.D in Marine Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway. He co-founded Nowcasting International Ltd. in Ireland in 1999, a leading marine weather and oceanographic forecasting company which developed and brought new technology and operational planning tools to marine forecasting, particularly for the Offshore Oil and Gas sector. He is also a member of the editorial board of The Journal of Ocean Technology.
Tommy Marren has anchored the main current-affairs morning show on Midwest Radio for over 25 years. During that time he has dealt with every topic imaginable and the popularity of the radio show is underpinned by the latest JNLR/MRBI National Radio Survey which shows the show as the most listened current affairs programme on local radio in Ireland. Tommy has twice been a recipient of PPI Radio awards.
